Henthorn & Associates, P.C. is a full service CPA/consulting firm serving clients in diverse industries throughout several states. While specializing in providing traditional accounting and consulting services to oil and gas companies, we also use a group of associates from non-accounting disciplines to provide a wider range of services to these companies. Other industries and disciplines served include automobile service companies, medical service providers, petroleum engineers, chemical and apparel wholesalers, and other CPAs. We also provide a variety of services to various not-for-profit organizations. Our clients range in size from large publicly traded corporations to small local businesses. We are also a provider of continuing professional education courses for CPAs using hands-on techniques for basic and advanced software instruction. The president and founder of Henthorn & Associates is Tom Henthorn, CPA. Tom is a 1976 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduation, Tom worked at Shell Oil Company in Houston. From there he worked at a number of small independent oil companies in various capacities from Joint Interest Accountant to Controller. As an independent accountant he worked on bankruptcies, joint interest audits and a wide variety of other projects. Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Oklahoma (PASO). He is also a member of the QuickBooks® Professional Advisors Program.
